Jupiter Shores

Living Room

The exceptionally high ceilings of this Jupiter home have no form, function or personality until Celesa (and a few good friends) transform the space with warm grey plastered walls textured with a “shadow” mural giving the impression of a late afternoon sun passing through palm trees.

A painting inspired the idea to bring a beach scene inside. The “shadow play” of reflections of palm trees echoed from the client’s lanai transformed an outdated platform above a doorway leading from the kitchen area to the living room. Warm colors in a Ralph Lauren special wall treatment were done by CJ in a brushed pearl of Dust Storm with shadows done in a matte Smoky Taupe.

Seemingly an unfixable eyesore, an entry from the living room into the client’s master bedroom looked at two closet doors. It was uninviting, blocking the flow. Removing one of the doors was a simple solution. A rich emerald patina wall with an enchanting vignette was created in which a lovely mirror reflected light back into the space.
